Next Gen: Leadership Program
Next Gen is our first year leadership program which aims to create the next generation of UA Miracle leaders. This is an exploratory program designed for students who are looking to learn more about UA Miracle as an organization while taking the first steps to become more involved. This program is intended to build the foundation for members to hold future leadership positions and be successful within this program in years to come. Members will work closely with staff, morale, and current leadership to gain hands on experience through engaging with miracle families, going on hospital tours, and learning fundraising tips. On average, over 75% of our leadership team starts their UA Miracle journey through Next Gen Leadership Program.

Staff Applications
UA Miracle Staff is the backbone of our program, with over 150 students serving each year. There is something for everyone on UA Miracle Staff, with opportunities spanning from Public Relations to Finance to Outreach Events to Morale and more! Each staff member is put on a committee which reports directly to a director over a specific element throughout the UA Miracle year. Staff members work directly with leadership to make everything UA Miracle possible! These applications open two times a year in the fall and early spring and are designed for students who are ready to take the next steps to commit to this organization.

Miracle Maker
Miracle Maker registration is open all year long and gives you access to the best party of the year – BAMAthon, where we stand and fundraise in support of those who can’t. Miracle Makers have the opportunity to attend full body meetings before each push day and participate in all Special Events throughout the year to get connected with over 1500 other students on campus. This is a great opportunity to start getting involved in UA Miracle with no stress and low time commitment. Miracle Makers are given all resources to be successful on push days and are included in weekly updates to stay connected and involved with UA Miracle throughout the entire year.
Do you want to help make miracles?
Miracle Maker applications stay open throughout the school year. Once you apply, our External Affairs team will be in touch for you to attend the next onboarding meeting.
Team Captains
Team Captains serve as the primary liaisons between UA Miracle and campus and community organizations, including colleges, student organizations, fraternities, sororities, and other groups both on and off campus. They build and maintain relationships with their assigned organizations, communicate important UA Miracle updates, upcoming events, and fundraising opportunities, and encourage year-round involvement in the organization’s mission. By fostering strong connections and providing consistent support, Team Captains help expand UA Miracle’s reach, strengthen engagement across campus and the community, and inspire others to make a difference for the children and families served by Children’s of Alabama.
